When and where is the 2025 Golfing for the Gals event?The Golfing for the Gals event will be held Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Finley Golf Club (500 Golf Course Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27514). Registration begins at 11:15 a.m.

Is there a dress code?Yes: For men, collared shirts must be worn and tucked in. For women, golf appropriate pants, shorts, or skirts, along with a proper golf shirt, are required. Golf shoes with metal spikes are not permitted on the golf course or practice area.

Is this a non-profit event?Yes! All proceeds directly benefit the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center for uterine cancer research.

What is the golfing event format?18-hole Captain’s Choice with a shotgun start (Flighted: M, W, mixed) at 1:00pm Registration begins at 11:15am.

Who can register?Mixed, Men's and Women's teams.

Is there a deadline for registration?Yes, September 20, 2025 is the deadline for golfer registration.

Is there a limited capacity?Yes, the golf field entry is limited to 56 players (14 teams)

Can we pay when we arrive?We ask that you pre-register and pay through this website before September 20, 2025.

Can we sign up as an individual?Yes, singles can sign up, and we will add you to a team.

What is the minimum age to participate?Participants must be at least 15 years of age.

Will there be prizes?Yes. Contest winners and Golf Awards are will be announced after the golf concludes.

What if there’s a tie during the putting contest?There will be a one try putt-off. The closest will win.

Will we hold the golf event in inclement weather?We will follow Finley Golf Club guidelines with for inclement weather. A golf rain date will be chosen if need be.

Can I get a refund?All registrations are non-refundable. In the event Finely Golf Club cancels, we will reschedule the golf portion of the event.

Will there be a beverage cart on the course?Yes, there will be a beverage cart. All alcohol will need to be purchased separately.
